Terms of Service
The rules for using UPIstar. Please read them carefully.

1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UPIstar website, dashboard, APIs, plugins and related services (together, the "Service"), operated from Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana 500033, India. By registering for or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
2. What UPIstar is, and is not
UPIstar is payment automation software. It generates UPI payment requests (such as QR codes and intent links) addressed to UPI IDs that you own, detects incoming credits, and notifies your systems. UPIstar is not a bank, payment aggregator, payment gateway licensee or escrow agent. We do not receive, hold, pool or settle your funds. All payments flow directly from your customer's bank to your own bank account through the UPI network operated by NPCI and participating banks.
3. Eligibility and account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and API keys confidential, and for all activity under your account.
- You must own, or be authorised to use, every UPI ID and bank account you connect to the Service.
4. The Lifetime plan
UPIstar offers a single plan, the Lifetime plan, for a one-time fee of ₹7,800. In return, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for one business for as long as UPIstar continues to operate the Service. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Service, not of any individual. There are no recurring subscription fees and no commission on your transactions. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service:
- for any unlawful purpose, or to sell goods or services prohibited under Indian law;
- for gambling, betting, money laundering, unregistered lending, pyramid or multi-level schemes, or any fraudulent activity;
- to collect payments to a UPI ID you don't own or aren't authorised to use;
- in breach of your bank's terms, NPCI guidelines, or applicable RBI regulations;
- to probe, overload, reverse engineer or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, without a refund, and may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
6. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your products and services, customer support, refunds to your customers, chargebacks or disputes raised with your bank, tax compliance (including GST), and any KYC or regulatory obligations that apply to your business. Bank and UPI network limits on your UPI IDs are set by your bank, not by UPIstar.
7. Availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation. The UPI network, banks, and third-party apps are outside our control, and outages or delays in those systems may affect payment detection.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos and documentation, belongs to UPIstar and its licensors. These Terms don't transfer any ownership to you. You keep ownership of your data and content.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UPIstar is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Lifetime plan.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections 2, 6, 8, 9 and 12 survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or on this page. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
